Program Description
The Introduction to User Experience (UX) and Design Thinking microcredential is a one-semester active learning experience that focuses on the iterative process of user-centered design thinking and development approach for user interface design and user experience assessment. Students will use the latest tools and concepts to create and evaluate user experience.
Admission Requirements
Admission to this microcredential program requires admission to WSU as a degree-seeking or non-degree seeking student. This microcredential may be earned as part of the graduate MSIHE degree program, as an elective in another degree program, or as a stand-alone credential for a non-degree seeking graduate student.

Students enrolled in this microcredential will learn to:
- Conduct usability testing
- Provide recommendations for improving the user experience
- Design wireframes for human-system interaction
- Assess usability requirements across the product life cycle
