The College of Engineering and Computer Science offers ten bachelor degrees, nine Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in computer science, eleven master’s degrees, three doctoral programs, and certificates at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Minor options are also available within many of the undergraduate programs. The bachelor degrees are intended to produce engineers and computer scientists prepared for entry-level employment or graduate study. These programs provide an understanding of basic science and engineering fundamentals, as well as modern professional practice. Practical training is obtained through a strong laboratory program and applied coursework. Thesis and non-thesis options are available in all Master of Science programs.

The college is committed to providing an outstanding education to its students. This is accomplished by excellence in teaching, research, and service and through collaboration with business and industry. As part of its commitment to the region, the college is dedicated to developing programs that are accessible to students and address the needs of local employers.

Modern laboratory facilities provide ample equipment for instructional support and research in a number of areas. The college manages and maintains computer systems and laboratories that are available to students. Access is also available to the Ohio Supercomputer Center via the Ohio Academic and Research Network (OARnet).
