BIO 4300 - Genes to Genomes: Concepts & Experiential Learning Credit Hour(s): 4
Course Description: Emphasizes both theoretical concepts and practical skills in genetics and genomics. Prepare students for advanced research by fostering critical thinking, scientific literacy, and hands-on experience. Students engage with real-world research questions relevant to human health and apply genetic knowledge to seek answers. Students develop skills in reading scientific literature, formulating educated hypotheses, designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions.
