SW 2720 - Multicultural Competence in a Diverse World

Course Description: An introduction to the methods of inquiry in the social sciences used to develop the knowledge and skills required to work and relate in a multicultural world. Content covers the historical development of discrimination in the U.S. and the need for multicultural competency to be an engaged and informed citizen in a democratic society.
