SLI 3540 - Sign to English-Voice Interpreting Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Knowledge and competencies for interpreting a variety of texts from signed modes to spoken English, using correct English grammar and syntax, while choosing appropriate vocabulary and register. Clarification and correction, peer review and self-analysis strategies are developed.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level SLI 2800 Minimum Grade of C
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following majors: Sign Language Interpreting.
