PHY 6730 - Mathematical Physics


Credit Hour(s): 3

Course Description: Survey of mathematical physics including vector analysis, tensor analysis, calculus of several variables, ordinary and partial differential equations, integral equations, theory of distributions. Ability to apply these to mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
