MUS 1560 - Keyboard Musicianship II

Course Description: Class instruction in functional keyboard skills including technique, chord construction and connection, improvisation, harmonization, playing by ear, sight reading, score reading, ensemble playing, and performing repertoire pieces.

Prerequisite(s): (Undergraduate level MUS 1010 Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level MUS 1550 Minimum Grade of D (MUS 1550 can be taken concurrently))

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Music - BA (MUSIC-BA), Music Education - BM (MUSICED-BM), Music Education - Lic (MUSICED2-LIC), Music History + Lit - BM (MUSHTLIT-BM), Performance - BM (PERF-BM).
