FR 4420 - Seventeenth and Twentieth Century Theatre

Course Description: Themes of destiny and divinity in 17th- and 20th-century French drama. Analysis of plays and their socio-historical context. Playwrights such as Corneille, Racine, Molière, Giraudoux, Sartre, Beckett, and Ionesco. Taught in French. Integrated Writing course. Department Managed Prerequisite(s): (Undergraduate level FR 3210 Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate level FR 3220 Minimum Grade of D)
