BIO 3810 - Introduction to Bioinformatics

Course Description: Tools-oriented approach to bioinformatics emphasizing DNA data structure, string representation in PERL, data searches, pairwise alignments, substitution patterns, protein structure prediction and modeling, proteomics, and use of web-based bioinformatic tools.

Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level BIO 1120 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level CS 1180 Minimum Grade of C
