Course Description: Concepts and applications of biology formatted to model implications of state and national pedagogical standards, aimed specifically at preparing students for biology teaching in Grades 4-9. Integrated lecture/lab.

Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level BIO 1120 Minimum Grade of C or Undergraduate level BIO 1150 Minimum Grade of C or Undergraduate level BIO 3450 Minimum Grade of C

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Elementary Education P-5 - Pre (ELEMED2-PRE), Elementary Education P-5-BSED (ELEMED2-BSED), Intervention Specialist - BSED (INTSPEC2-BSED), Intervention Specialist - Pre (INTSPEC2-PRE), Middle Childhd Graduate - Pre (MIDCH2-PRE), Middle Childhood Ed - BSED (MIDCHE2-BSED).
