Clinical Year

Includes 40 credit hours of medical lab coursework spread over 3 semesters (Summer, Fall, Spring). Clinical year is a 12-month program consisting of didactic coursework and rotations at affiliated laboratories.

Term Eight

Clinical Year

Classes include: hematology, clinical chemistry, pathology, urine and body fluid analysis, microbiology, parasitology, and immunohematology

Notes:

This program illustrates a possible 4-year completion of Medical Laboratory Science, BS degree.
Admission to the Medical Laboratory Science program is competitive and limited.
An overall GPA of 2.7 or better is required.
Criteria used to determine admission include the student’s academic record, 3 letters of recommendation, and results of a personal interview. Additional credit will be required if college algebra pr-requisites are necessary.
