Entrepreneurship (GPS)


This plan outlines a four-year path to graduation. You are expected to satisfy all “success marker” courses, grades, and GPAs as specified. For part-time students and students needing to complete background material, this schedule represents the order in which courses should be taken. This suggested plan to four-year graduation does not replace regular advising appointments. Some course offerings may change.

Note(s):


* Required grade and GPA. All other minimum grades are recommended, but not required.
Wright State Core: Must complete two Multicultural Competence (MC) and two Integrated Writing (IW) courses.
Admission Requirements to RSCOB: 2.5 cumulative GPA and 30 semester hours.
Must complete ACC 2010 , ACC 2020 ; EC 2040 , EC 2050 ; MS 2040 , MS 2050 ; FIN 2210 ; MKT 2500 ; MTH 2280 ; ENG 2100  prior to taking 3000-level business courses.

ENT Electives:  One entrepreneurship elective must be Integrated Writing (IW).

Program Description


in today’s business environment, graduates skilled in creative problem solving and risk taking with the ability to see new opportunities are in high demand. An entrepreneurship degree will help you learn those skills and equip you with the experiences necessary to succeed in a business environment or start your own venture. If you are eager to learn, customer focused, creative, and have strong technical, planning, and organizational abilities, majoring in entrepreneurship can benefit you in nearly any career field or industry.

Graduates equipped with the skills of an entrepreneur are valued across all industries. An entrepreneurship degree is not only for those interested in owning their own business. Many companies are looking for people with entrepreneurial attitudes and characteristics who contribute to positive change.
