Basic Geographic Information Science Graduate Microcredential

Program Description

This program provides basic training in the area of Geographic Information Science. The basic GIS microcredential is one course. Successful completion of the microcredential requires the student to earn a B or better.

• Develop an understanding of the technical skills associated with geographic information science 

• Learn how to analyze spatial data

• Create maps and examine geographic representations of information
