The Aviation Psychology (AVP) concentration focuses an undergraduate’s Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree on courses that prepare the student for an aviation-related career. Students will complete the ground school and flight training necessary to become a commercial pilot as well as round out their education with relevant theories from Psychology and the natural sciences. This scientific background would provide the student with an understanding of human cognition and perception and the implications for designing safe and effective interfaces between the human operator and a dynamic, complex, technologically rich environment. To add the AVP concentration to your degree program, speak to your advisor (cosm-advisors@wright.edu).
