Six Sigma Green Belt Undergraduate Microcredential

Program Description
The Six Sigma Green Belt microcredential is a one-semester learning experience that introduces students to the practical application of Six Sigma tools in the manufacturing and service industries. Students who successfully complete this microcredential will also earn a Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate.
Admission Requirements
Admission to this microcredential program requires admission to WSU as a degree-seeking or non-degree seeking student. This microcredential may be earned as part of an undergraduate degree program or as a stand-alone credential for a non-degree seeking undergraduate student.
Program Learning Objectives
Students enrolled in this microcredential will learn to:
- Understand statistical tools used in Six Sigma
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Evaluate Six Sigma metrics and performance measurements
- Implement process improvement using DMAIC
- Understand Six Sigma organization and infrastructure
- Understand deployment strategies for Six Sigma projects
- Use techniques for Six Sigma projects selection
- Design for Six Sigma
