Integrated Science Studies, BS (GPS)

This plan outlines a four-year path to graduation in two concentrations:  Pre-Health Professional or Earth and Biological Science. You are expected to satisfy all “success marker” courses, grades, and GPAs as specified.  For part-time students and students needing to complete background material, this schedule represents the order in which courses should be taken.  This suggested plan to four-year graduation does not replace regular advising appointments.  Some course offerings may change.

Term One


Total: 14-16 Credit Hours


Success Markers: CHM 1210 prerequisite DEV 0970/MPL of 30, CHM 1010/1050

Minimum GPA 2.0

Term Two


Total: 15-17 Credit Hours


Term Three


Total: 17 Credit Hours


Term Four


Total: 17 Credit Hours


Success Markers: BIO 2110 is offered every other spring on odd-numbered years.

Term Five


Total: 12-16 Credit Hours


Success Markers: EES 4190 is offered every other fall on even-numbered years. EES 3120 is offered every other fall in the odd-numbered years. EES 3180/3180L will be offered on even years. 

Term Six


Total: 12-16 Credit Hours


Success Markers: EES 3160 is offered every other spring in odd-numbered years. BIO 3150 is offered every other spring in odd-numbered years. FAS 3200 and 3210 will be offered on odd years. 

Term Seven


Total: 12-14 Credit Hours


BIO 4750 is offered every other fall in even-numbered years. EES 3180 is offered every other fall in even-numbered years. EES 4200 is offered every other year in odd-numbered years. EES 3120 and FAS 3500 will be offered on odd years.

Term Eight


Total: 12 Credit Hours


Success Markers:  EES 4420 is offered every other spring on even-numbered years. FAS 3510 will be offered on even years.
