Electrical Engineering, BSEE (GPS)


This plan outlines a four-year path to graduation. You are expected to satisfy all “success marker” courses, grades, and GPAs as specified. For part-time students and students needing to complete background material, this schedule represents the order in which courses should be taken. This suggested plan to four-year graduation does not replace regular advising appointments. Some course offerings may change.

Term One


EE pre-major term 1. Beginning engineering math, science, electrical engineering, and WSU core.

Total: 16 Credit Hours


SUCCESS MARKERS: Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better; complete each of EE 1000, MTH 2300, and PHY 2400/L with a C or better.

Term Two


EE pre-major term 2. Beginning engineering, math, science, and electrical engineering.

Total: 17 Credit Hours


SUCCESS MARKERS: Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better; complete each of MTH 2310 and PHY 2400/L with a C or better.

Term Three


EE pre-major term 3. Beginning engineering math, science, electrical engineering, and WSU core.

Total: 16 Credit Hours


SUCCESS MARKERS: Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better; complete a MTH 2320, PHY 2410/L, and EE 2010/L with a C or better.

Term Four


EE full-major term 1. Advanced engineering math, electrical engineering, and WSU Core.

Total: 14 Credit Hours


SUCCESS MARKERS: Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better; complete MTH 2350, EE 3210, and EE 3310/L with a C or better.

Term Five


EE full-major term 2. Advanced engineering math, electrical engineering, and WSU Core.

Total: 14 Credit Hours


SUCCESS MARKERS: Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better.

Term Six


EE full-major term 3. Electrical Engineering.

Total: 15 Credit Hours

Term Seven


EE full-major term 4. Electrical engineering senior design and WSU Core.
