Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in International Business prepares students for a career in international business. The program has an applied learning orientation that includes foreign language courses and an internship in an area of international business. The degree is interdisciplinary, combining courses in culture, foreign language, and international business. A combination of international courses is taken in each functional area of business, including marketing, accountancy, finance, management, and economics.
Admission Requirements
The Raj Soin College of Business offers direct admission to their major program to first-year students who have a minimum 3.25 high school grade point average and a 22 ACT (or 1030 SAT) score.
Current Wright State students wishing to be admitted into the BS program must have a 2.5 minimum curriculum grade point average and 30 semester credit hour.
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates will be able to:
- understand the practices and considerations required when engaging in global business (economics, finance, management, marketing, and supply chain management).
- to demonstrate how to transfer and market products and services across international borders.
- demonstrate proficiency in a second language.
- understand how to navigate major cultural differences when interacting with people from different international backgrounds.

Nine credit hours in a language other than English with a minimum of three credit hours in an upper-level (3000 or higher) course in that language. International students who speak English as a second language may waive this requirement if they meet the English proficiency requirement for admission at Wright State University. IV. Cultural Electives (as approved by the Department): 9 Hours
