Program Description:

To declare the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies minor students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and they must have completed WGS 2000 (Wright State Core Area 5). A minimum grade of “C” is required for all courses counted toward the minor, including WGS 2000 , and no more than two courses may be from the same discipline.

WGS 3000 - Introduction to Sexuality Studies Credit Hour(s): 3
WGS 3500 - Feminist Activism Credit Hour(s): 3
WGS 3600 - Feminist Theory Credit Hour(s): 3

II. Electives: 12 Hours

One approved WGS course in Gender and Sexuality
One approved WGS course in Fine Arts/Humanities
One approved WGS course in Social Sciences
One approved WGS course in Multicultural or International Perspectives

*At least two courses must be 4000-level and above. Students should refer to the approved WGS course list for available options within each category or confirm with the Program Director.
