CEG 4424 - Security Attacks and Defenses Credit Hour(s): 3 Introduction to attacks and their defenses. Reconnaissance, penetration, denial of service, and covert channels. Topics include privilege escalation, hijacking, trusted booting, packet filtration, protocol scrubbing and honeypots. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level CEG 4350 Minimum Grade of D (CEG 4350 can be taken concurrently) Enrollment Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following Degrees: Intending Egr & CS, Pre_Degree.
