NUR 7202 - Common Acute and Emergent Adult Health Problems II Credit Hour(s): 8
Course Description: Focus is on complex symptom management related to acute and emergent physiological alterations in endocrine, gastrointestinal, genital urinary, hematological, immunological, and neurological function in young adult, adult, and older adults. Health promotion, health maintenance, and health restoration are emphasized, along with risk assessment and preventative strategies. The pharmacological management of complex symptomatology and advanced role development are integrated into the course.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level NUR 7102 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7103 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7104 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7201 Minimum Grade of C
