EES 4550 - Aqueous Environmental Geochemistry

Course Description: Interactions between natural fresh waters and their geologic environments. Includes chemical equilibrium, modeling using PHREEQC, carbonate system, water-rock interactions, sorption isotherms, redox reactions, biologic influences on aqueous geochemistry, and applications of environmental isotopes.

Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level CHM 1220 Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level CHM 1220L Minimum Grade of D
