ES 7020 - Global Biogeochemical Cycles Credit Hour(s): 3 This course examines the how components of Earth (biosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere)combine to affect how elements cycle through and between these components. This understanding forms the basis of the field of biogeochemistry. Topics include feedback loops, weathering, biological redox processes, nutrient cycling, gas fluxes, and how humans have modified Earth’s biogeochemistry. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: Environmental Sciences - PHD.
