BME 4422 - Advanced Biotransport and Artificial Internal Organs Credit Hour(s): 4 Introduction to transport processes vital to the design of medical devices for artificial intervention into living systems. Topics include pulmonary gas transport, mathematical modeling of pharmacokinetic systems, membrane transport, tissue engineering and bioartificial organ design. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level BME 4421 Minimum Grade of D Corequisite(s): BME4422L Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following Degrees: Intending Egr & CS.
