Instructional Design and Learning Technologies, MEd

Program Description

You can prepare to become a highly trained instructional designer, armed with the tools you need to bring innovative teaching and training practices into education, corporate, and governmental settings while pursuing Wright State’s fully online Master of Education degree in Instructional Design and Learning Technologies.

This unique online program allows you to participate in dynamic courses and learn to create engaging learning experiences. Your coursework will cover the effective design and implementation of online and blended-learning classes, as well as the research, theory, and research methodologies associated with the effective design of online and blended-learning classes.

The entire program is taught in an online environment and can be completed in five semesters. All of the classes are designed using the most current research around effective online pedagogies, so you will learn about effective teaching practices and experience them as students. Classes include a synchronous weekly webinar, and sessions are recorded for participants who cannot attend the “live” session.

This program does not lead to an initial teaching license.
