The Epidemiology (EPID) Certificate Program will provide graduate students specialized knowledge and skills in applying epidemiologic concepts and methods to prevention and public health problems. Those who complete the prescribed coursework in this certificate program will achieve advanced competencies in the application of epidemiologic concepts and methods to address public health problems.
Admission and Related Requirements
The EPID Certificate Program requires acceptance by the Graduate School as a non-degree student. A supplemental application along with a two-page personal statement is required.
At a minimum, applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher based on a 4l0 grading scale.
Wright State University graduate degree-seeking students are also eligible for the certificate provided they apply before satisfying more than half of the certificate program’s required credit hours. “Students in this status must have a 3.0 cumulative graduate grade point average the semester in which they complete nine semester hours of graduate credit. http://policy.wright.edu/policy/5010-categories-admission

Program Requirements
Ao achieve the EPID certificate, a student must receive a grade of B or higher in all courses. EPID students must take PPH 6100 and PPH 6200 as required courses and choose three courses from the following subject areas: intermediate and advanced methods in biostatistics, research design and methodology, advanced epidemiology. Recommended courses are listed below.
