Program Description:
This program provides extended training in the areas of Geographic Information Systems, Cartography and Remote Sensing in order to complement a major field of study. Students learn the latest developments in data collection and analysis techniques, aerial and space cameras and sensors, photographic materials and reproductive processes, and mapping procedures, including computer mapping. Successful completion of the Certificate Program requires the student to carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 for these five courses.
