Program Description
Admission Requirements:
To declare the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies minor students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and they must have completed WGS 2000 (Wright State Core Area 5). A minimum grade of “C” is required for all courses counted toward the minor, including WGS 2000 , and no more than two courses may be from the same discipline.

I. Program Requirements/Prerequisites: 9 Hours
II. Electives: 12 Hours
- One approved WGS course in Gender and Sexuality
- One approved WGS course in Fine Arts/Humanities
- One approved WGS course in Social Sciences
- One approved WGS course in Multicultural or International Perspectives
* All electives must be 3000 level or above and at least one of these must be at the 4000 level. At least two courses must be 4000-level and above. Students should refer to the approved WGS course list for available options within each category or confirm with the Program Director.
