Program Description

This program provides intermediate training in the area of Remote Sensing. The intermediate Remote Sensing microcredential is three courses. Successful completion of the microcredential requires the student to earn a C or better in all courses that comprise this microcredential.

Program Admission Requirements

This academic program does not have admission requirements beyond regular admission to Wright State University.  Any student is eligible to declare this academic program. 

Program Learning Objectives 

Students enrolled in this program will learn to: 

  • develop an understanding of the central theory and technical skills associated with remote sensing

  • generate, manage, and analyze spatial data related to remote sensing

  • create and analyze maps with remote-sensing images

Program Learning Outcomes 

As a result of their learning experience, graduates of this program can: 

  • apply the analytical and technical skills associated with remote sensing

  • critically examine spatial data and geographic information related to remote sensing

  • create and analyze maps using the most up-to-date remote sensing technical platforms
