Program Description
The Global Health certificate prepares students to critically evaluate key challenges, policies, and processes as they affect the health of populations in a global context. The learning experiences involve collaboration with faculty from Family Medicine, Population and Public Health Sciences, and several local agencies. Students can complete a travel abroad trip and a capstone project.
Program Admission Requirements
For those students not also seeking a graduate degree at Wright State, the Certificate Program requires acceptance by the Graduate School as a non-degree student. A supplemental department application along with a two-page personal statement is also required. Students must have earned at minimum a baccalaureate degree from an accredited University. Degree-seeking students currently enrolled in a graduate program at Wright State are eligible to take the required courses and earn the Certificate.
