Program Description
The Agricultural Business Management Certificate focuses on the fundamentals of working within an agricultural business (ranging from agronomic and livestock production to communication and business services). A total of 21 credit hours is required in agricultural production, finance, business, and leadership areas.
Program Admissions Requirements
This academic program does not have admission requirements beyond regular admission to Wright State University. Any student is eligible to declare this academic program.
Program Learning Objectives
Students enrolled in this program will learn to:
- demonstrate effective communication skills
- explain basic principles of agriculture production, including agronomic crop management, livestock production, and basic marketing concepts
- apply leadership and business skills to effectively manage and lead groups in agricultural settings
