This Graduation Planning Strategy (GPS) outlines a sample four-year path to graduation and is valid for this catalog year only. This plan is a recommendation, and your actual program may vary. This suggested four-year graduation plan is not a substitute for regular academic advising appointments.
All undergraduate degree programs require at least 120 credit hours. To graduate in four years, students must earn an average of 15 credit hours per semester (fall and spring). The time it takes to complete a degree and the sequence in which courses are taken will depend on any credits transferred to WSU and placement in math and writing.
See the Academic Catalog for a complete listing of curriculum requirements, course prerequisites, and course descriptions. Course offerings and prerequisites are subject to change.

The Dance Program’s four-year B.F.A. degree enables serious dance students to hone their skills and deepen their technical ability in order to become strong versatile dancers. With a faculty that is rich in professional experience, the program offers the opportunity to study and perform in all three major dance techniques of ballet, jazz, and modern. WSU’s dance program is integrated with our acting and musical theatre programs, giving our dance students unique opportunities to grow and explore multiple disciplines. Additionally, our exchange programs with the Dayton Ballet and Dayton Contemporary Dance Company offer exceptional dance majors further opportunities for training and performance. |
