Program Description
Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine offers the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree, a graduate program for leaders interested in shaping public and population health. The M.P.H. program was founded in partnership with local public health agencies and remains committed to operating in academic partnerships with health districts across our region and beyond. These partnerships provide enhanced learning opportunities and pathways to employment and promotion. The program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
As the first M.P.H. program in southwest Ohio, the program is responsive to the educational needs of working public health and other professionals. We offer a cohort-based learning environment where learners can engage with peers and receive hands-on mentoring from our faculty. Students may choose to complete specialized training in epidemiology, health promotion and education, global health, health care management, and public health leadership. Our diverse student body includes in-career professionals, medical students, recent college graduates, and individuals making a career change.
