Program Description:
An associate degree in Communication Studies prepares students for a variety of entry-level careers in the public and private sectors or the media. It also serves as a seamless articulation to the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies, where students can major in mass communication, organizational communication, and communication studies.
Admission Requirements:
Students are expected to satisfy all “success marker” courses, grades, and GPAs as specified for degree completion.
Program Learning Objectives
Students enrolled in the Comminication Studies AA program will:
- Gain important jubs skills through a strong academic foundation in communications.
- Gain experiences and training in public speaking and/or business presentations
- Utilize mass media and organizational communication methods.
