Comparative Religion Minor

Program Description:
Because Religion is an integral part of human culture and society, this minor is a fitting complement to any Liberal Arts discipline. The Comparative Religion minor introduces students to the history and practices of the major world religions. Elective coursework is flexible, allowing students to choose to concentrate advanced study in their areas of interest.
Admissions Requirements:
The Comparative Religion Minor is open to all students who have been admitted into a degree program and who have a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
Program Learning Outcomes:
Students enrolled in the Comparative Religion Minor program will
- acquire knowledge of diverse religious traditions
- acquire knowledge of diverse religious practices in historical context
- acquire critical thinking skills
- acquire communication and writing skills
