Notes:
Four semesters of Latin language double-count as the CoLA language requirement and a Licensure requirement.
Students must complete all Latin language courses with a grade of C or higher.
Students must complete all ED and EDS courses with a grade of “C” or higher and all ED field courses with a P.
ED 2600 is a prerequisite for ED 2700. ED 2650 is a prerequisite for ED 2750.
Before beginning student teaching in ED 4750, students must have proved their proficiency in Latin by scoring 150 or higher on the Latin Praxis II exam. Students should sign up to take the Praxis II exam and schedule an oral proficiency interview upon completion of 7 semesters of Latin.
For additional information about the admissions to and requirements of the Latin Licensure Program, see the websites for the Multi-Age Licensure and the Latin Licensure Programs.
GRADUATION REQUIRES 120 TOTAL CREDIT HOURS. 42 HOURS MUST BE AT THE 3000 LEVEL OR ABOVE. This plan outlines a four-year path to graduation. You are expected to satisfy all “success marker” courses, grades, and GPAs as specified. For part-time students and students needing to complete background material, this schedule represents the suggested order in which courses should be taken. This suggested plan does not replace regular advising appointments. Some course offerings may change.
