Classical Languages and Cultures (GPS)


This plan outlines a four-year path to graduation. You are expected to satisfy all “success marker” courses, grades, and GPAs as specified. For part-time students and students needing to complete background material, this schedule represents the order in which courses should be taken. This suggested plan to four-year graduation does not replace regular advising appointments. Some course offerings may change.

*Classics majors take a minimum of 5 semesters of Classical Greek (GR) or Latin (LAT); additional semesters of a Classical language may substitute for CLS electives. Four semesters of language (1010-2020) double count as the CoLA language requirement.

**Classics majors are encouraged to take  &  to fulfill Area 3 and Area 4 of the Wright State Core. If these Core areas are fulfilled by other courses, CLS 1500 and CLS 1600 will count as CLS electives.
