RF and Microwave engineering is the foundation stone of modern communications, and is becoming more pervasive in the commercial sector as well as in defense system. The technology covers all aspects of devices, circuits and systems operated in the Radio Frequency spectrum from 3 kHz up to 300 GHz, with broad applications in portable communication devices, radar, direct satellite broadcast, global positioning system, RFID, and remote sensing. It also shows great potential in applications of 5G communication both at transport and at network level. The RF and Microwave certificate program will incorporate theory and practice to educate students with a solid knowledge of RF and microwave technology as well as practical hands-on experience. The program offers a platform in training students in such a highly specialized field with in-depth knowledge of math, physics, and general theory of RF and microwave engineering. Students completing the program will demonstrate immediate value to prospective industry employers and qualify to the Keysight RF and Microwave Industry-Ready Student Certification.
