Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Minor

Program Description

An undergraduate certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies can be completed by non-degree students who wish to gain a professional credential for working with women and on women’s/gender issues in various occupations. To be admitted, students must hold an undergraduate degree at either the bachelor or associate level in any area, with a 2.0 minimum GPA. A minimum grade of “C” is required for each course counted toward the certificate. Electives must be at least 3000-level and from two different disciplines; see approved course list for available options or confirm with the program director.

Admission Requirements

To declare the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies minor students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and they must have completed WGS 2000 (Wright State Core Area 5). A minimum grade of “C” is required for all courses counted toward the minor, including WGS 2000 , and no more than two courses may be from the same discipline.
