SW 3810 - Writing for the Social Work Professional

Course Description: Provides applied exercises specific to the generalist social worker curriculum of our BASW. Starting with information about the essential elements of Social Work written communication, this will include but is not limited to the composition and editing of: case notes; social services funding application writing; empowerment-based research translation for constituent audiences; advocacy writing to elected officials for social services, population group needs; etc.

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Social Work - BA (SOCIALWR2-BA), Social Work - Pre (SCLWRK2-PRE).
