EDS 6510 - Foundations of Special Education Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Introduction to historical and current context of special education law and litigation as it applies to identification, evaluation, program development, and program implementation for students with disabilities; application and implications for professional educators.
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Educational Studies - MED (EDST2-MED), Exceptionalities - MED (EXCPTIO2-MED), Intervention Specialist - Lic (INTVSPE2-LIC), Intervention Specialist - MED (INTVSPE2-MED).
