EDL 7710 - Leadership for School Improvement

Course Description: The course focuses on the development of a deep understanding of organizational structure, leadership theory, and skill development in leadership, communication, decision making, and problem solving. A continuous improvement mindset and the change process are the foundation for strategies that are discussed regarding distributed leadership, team development, motivation, and school culture.

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Education Leadership - MA (EDLEAD2-MA), Education Leadership - MED (EDLEAD2-MED), Education Specialist - EDS (EDSPEC2-EDS), Principalship - Lic (PRINCIP2-LIC), Principalship - MA (PRINCIP2-MA), Principalship - MED (PRINCIP2-MED), Teacher Leader - End (TL2-END).
