CS 3250 - Computational Tools and Techniques for Data Analysis

Introduction to the representation, manipulation, and analysis of large datasets from a user’s perspective. Topics include data filtering, clustering, classification, and data mining. The basic principles behind each technique are first introduced and then numerical experiments demonstrate their applicability. Standard software and programming languages are used.
