SLI 4400 - Specialized Interpreting Settings Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Specialty settings of medical, mental health, legal, Deaf-Blind or oral interpreting. Discussions include ethical decision making, specialized vocabulary and legal ramifications. Students will demonstrate specialized vocabulary and sign competence. Integrated Writing course.
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Sign Language Interpret-Intent (SIGNLANG-IN), Sign Language Interpreter - BS (SIGNLANG-BS), Sign Language Interpreting -BS (SIGNLNG2-BS), Sign Language Interpreting-Pre (SIGNLNG2-PRE).
