ISE 4910 - Industrial and Systems Engineering Design I Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Segment one of the senior design sequence that culminates in the delivery of the capstone design project. Application of fundamental and specialized engineering concepts relating to the theory and practice of engineering design. Working in teams and under the mentorship of an advisor, students will formulate the design problem, develop a formal project proposal, and begin working on their prototyping project. All projects will include a digital engineering component (modeling, simulation, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, etc.). Students will understand engineering in its ethical and professional context and appreciate the need for lifelong learning in the engineering discipline. Integrated Writing course.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level ISE 4712 Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level ISE 4320 Minimum Grade of D and (Undergraduate level EGR 3350 Minimum Grade of D or ENG 2140 Minimum Grade of D)
Enrollment Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following degrees: Intending Egr & CS, Pre_Degree. Must be enrolled in one of the following colleges: College of Egr & Computer Sci.
