ED 7600 - Phonics & Multi-Sensory Learning for Dyslexic & At-Risk Readers/Writers Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Explores the instructional needs in explicit phonics and multisensory structured literacy for students with dyslexia, dyslexic tendencies, and at-risk readers/writers in PK-12 settings. Emphasizes evidence-based practices grounded in the Science of Reading, including phonemic awareness, decoding, and language comprehension.
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Exceptionalities - MED (EXCPTIO2-MED), Literacy - MED (LITERAC2-MED), Reading - End (READEDU2-END).
