BIO 2310 - Evolution and Ecology Credit Hour(s): 4
Course Description: Overview of the concepts of evolution and ecology. Examines the major reasons that populations of organisms change genetically over time, the basis of speciation and influences on organisms, and what determines the direction of those changes including interactions with the physical environment and other organisms. Community and ecosystem processes will be discussed. Labs will explore approaches including modeling and analysis of data. Integrated Writing course.
