ME 1040 - Engineering Design and Solid Modeling

Fundamentals of blue-print reading, technical sketching, mechanical drawing, CAD, modeling and prototyping and computer-assisted analysis. Topics include safety, ethics, product liability, teamwork and personal responsibilities. Prepares students for the CATI Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) certification exam. Communication skills and economic considerations are stressed.
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Colleges: College of Egr & Computer Sci.
