EES 6300 - Environ Apps of GIS Credit Hour(s): 4 Study of the concepts, terminology, data models, and analytical functions of Geographic Information System; availability and processing of digital data; application of GIS as a mapping tool; spatial analysis of environmental and geologic problems. ESRI’s ArcGIS is used for hands-on exercises and an independent mapping project with comprehensive coverage. Three hours lecture and two hours lab are combined. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
