PSY 8640 - Research Methods in Industrial/Organizational Psychology Credit Hour(s): 4 The course focuses on the unique methodological challenges faced by I/O researchers. Theory, causation, and experimental validity are reviewed. Various research designs (e.g., experiments, quasi-experiments, correlation and regression analysis, ethnographic study) are discussed. Methods of data collection (e.g., unobtrusive measurement, survey, qualitative) are reviewed. Methods of data analysis (e.g., structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling, meta-analysis) are reviewed. Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Human Factors/Indust Psych. May not be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Undergraduate.
